Photo to video: picking a reference photo

Start with a frame that already contains the subject and composition you want.

  1. Use a sharp, well-lit photo with the subject visible. Choose your own or authorized media and obtain permission for identifiable people.
  2. Avoid screenshots with buttons, captions or watermarks. Keep the intended framing and important body parts in view.
  3. Match the photo to the action: a side view helps describe sideways motion; a close-up will not establish a full-body pose.
  4. Upload the photo in a supported Create mode. Confirm the preview and supported format before reviewing the quote.
