Writing a good prompt

Subject → action → camera → light → mood.

  1. Start with what is visible: a subject, one action and where it happens. Add a camera direction and lighting that match the reference.
  2. Too vague: “Make it cinematic and amazing.” Better: “[Character 1] picks up a yellow ball on grass and looks toward a low handheld camera. Natural afternoon light, playful mood.”
  3. Keep one clear action per short shot. Avoid asking for several scene changes at once.
  4. Change one instruction between takes so you can tell what helped. A prompt is a direction, not a guarantee.
